Breeds of dragons
Dragons can be in any color but purple tends to be rarer due to an uncommon disease that killed them off one by one. Purple are still around but are on the brink of extinction. Every 100 years a purple dragon will be born.
Males are big in appearance while females are slightly smaller. They have bat like wings, and can have up to five toes, tree is the least. Males can grow beards in old age. Pureblood westerns can use up to four elements; Fire, Electricity, Ice, and Earth. Under bellies are slated plates.
They have a diet of meat
Some Western dragons can be slim and lengthy and are usually female, but for every 150 females there is usually one male.
They are always hatched from an egg, no live birth.
Long in appearance, tend to be covered in fur, long and short. They have no wings but have a connection with the wind and magic. Males will tend to grow beards in adult age, and females will tend to have a "mane" from birth, similar to female human head hair. Both will have long hair from their head to the tip of their tails. Under bellies are a rounded version of the western's slated plates. They can be any color.

About the size of an average male Clydesdale, and live in the water. They can only be on land for a few minutes for they need water to breath. Covered in scales and have fins on their tails, legs, and backs. They don't have wings but they do have to large fins that resemble the fins of a flying fish. Have smooth underbellies. They are blue and green in color.
They have a diet of sea/lake plants
They use the element of water to attack foes if on land, but in water they can uses their voices to confuse their enemy to flee.
They tend to lay eggs but they can have live births. If a female hasn't laid an egg within the first week of mating, it means they will have a live birth. Pregnancy lasts 3 months and females will become more aggressive during the course of pregnancy.
Small in size, about the size of a normal sized female deer. They have feathered wings and thick neck fluffs. Body is covered in thick scales and underbellies are covered in thick fur. Can be colors of white, grey, black, and cream.
They don't have a known element for they stay in their Northern boundaries and keep to themselves, but it is said that they use dark magic.
They have a diet of meat, if there is a lack of food, they will sometimes turn cannibalistic and eat their young/elders.
Have a core temperature of 250°, can withstand temperatures low as 100°. Anything lower than 100° and they will need to find a hotspot and relax. They are week when exposed to cold temperatures for long periods of time. Colors range from Red, Orange, Pink, and sometimes Yellow.
Have a core temperature of -100°, can withstand temperatures up to 100°. Anything higher and they will find a cold stream, river, or any water source. Week when exposed to hot temperatures for long periods of time. Colors range from Deep Blue to Light Blue.
Have a core temperature of 98°. Can't stand temperatures up to 150° and as low as -20°. They need to stay near a water source due to risk of overheating. Week when away from any water source for long times. Colors range from Green, Brown, and Cream.
Have a core temperature of 150°, and can withstand any temperature. They need to have a way to expel excess energy so they usually shoot electric currents into the sky late in the night. Can be any color but are mostly seen as Yellow, Light Blue, and Pink.
This subspecies of dragon has only back legs and their wings are that of a bat, they can grab things with their wing thumbs. They are about the size of any western dragon but stand taller for they stand nearly upright. Though Wyverns can only breath fire, they are very fierce.
Honey Drakes are small, energetic creatures that feed almost exclusively on flower nectar, honey, and insects. About the size of horse, they are the smaller of the Drakes. They are born without wings and gain them as they mature.
Though not very bright, these emotive creatures employ an impressive vocabulary of loud chortles, shrieks, and songs to communicate with one another, and almost never stop chattering. When threatened, a Howler will flare its wings to display its bright red eye spots, while letting out an ear-splitting scream. They about the size of a 1 story house. They are born without wings and gain them as they mature.
Known for their intuition—they always seem to know when someone is feeling down, and will do what they can to provide cheer. These dragons are curious and will poke their noses into anything. One of the very few eastern dragons with wings. There can’t be more then one, and it’s only male and often made as royalty.
Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called "pods." Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often "play" with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are the size of 1 story house.
